The corner led to San Juan FBC's Marcos Pedrero getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When Ariando Torralba fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pujpuco's protests and gave Ariando Torralba a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pujpuco's Ariando Torralba got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 9th minute, Galsino Briñas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Juan FBC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 12th minute, San Juan FBC's Galsino Briñas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fraco Sara. Fraco Sara yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 17 minutes in the game, Galsino Briñas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fraco Sara having to interfere. Galsino Briñas did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Fraco Sara 20 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, San Juan FBC's Galsino Briñas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Froilan Ferdinand kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Sonny Wahlnäs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Pujpuco's Fraco Sara got control of the ball when Marcos Pedrero tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 46 played minutes Galsino Briñas rounded Pujpuco's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 7-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcos Pedrero was the one to do the kick off. A wasted opportunity for Pujpuco. San Juan FBC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
