The audience was convinced that Guib Cortina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Restu Almendras was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Restu Almendras was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Guib Cortina capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Guib Cortina really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 20 minutes into the game, Peio Gormaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New Alianza FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ the free kick. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for New Alianza FC! New Alianza FC:s Restu Almendras showed great skill when he stopped Guib Cortina:s penalty. Restu Almendras came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Guib Cortina. But to his dismay, Guib Cortina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 27th minute ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ were awarded a corner. Leonides Pulido went to the cornerflag to take it. With his leg Restu Almendras managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Guib Cortina fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 30th minute Jesse Van den Ende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Johnson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 minutes, Guib Cortina made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. New Alianza FC's Restu Almendras tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, New Alianza FC's Restu Almendras got control of the ball when Guib Cortina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eduino Caspe's late challenge caught a ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduino Caspe helped the player get up and apologised. New Alianza FC's Restu Almendras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save New Alianza FC from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd match minute, New Alianza FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Jonsansoro to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Restu Almendras managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Guib Cortina fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Guib Cortina might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Restu Almendras. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guib Cortina ran back to his position shaking his head. If Guib Cortina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 51stth minute of the game Jesse Van den Ende who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Ferdinand Johnson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Ferdinand Johnson got control of the ball when Anacleto Cuerva tried to sneak it across the goal line. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Ferdinand Johnson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Aramberri in the 58th minute of play. Guib Cortina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Restu Almendras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Restu Almendras didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guib Cortina went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ made a substitution. Roberto Firmino replaced Vasco Lobato. Leonides Pulido struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Restu Almendras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ. Ferdinand Johnson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saul Aramberri in the 77th minute. Restu Almendras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guib Cortina in the 81st minute of the match. In the 87th minute of the game Eduino Caspe made a throw-in which Anacleto Cuerva played forward. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
