Saul Aramberri kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute Alfredo Tomasini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Restu Almendras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8thth minute of the game Jesse Van den Ende who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ALIANZA 1901's Ruy Berger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Jesse Van den Ende sped through ALIANZA 1901's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ruy Berger. In the 12th match minute, New Alianza FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boni Borica to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Alfredo Tomasini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ALIANZA 1901 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Anacleto Cuerva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruy Berger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jesse Van den Ende's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Restu Almendras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 25 minutes into the match, New Alianza FC's goal looked a bit too open when Richie Ason came free, but Restu Almendras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jesse Van den Ende's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruy Berger was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. In the 31st minute, Richie Ason left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ALIANZA 1901 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richie Ason in the 35th minute of play forced New Alianza FC's goalkeeper Restu Almendras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Alfredo Tomasini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Restu Almendras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ALIANZA 1901's Ruy Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesse Van den Ende in the 40th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesse Van den Ende got free with Ruy Berger in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The wind increased when Alfredo Tomasini made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jesse Van den Ende in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruy Berger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to ALIANZA 1901 getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Nicasio Rivadeneira hit a great ball. Anacleto Cuerva struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Ruy Berger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New Alianza FC. 59 minutes into the match, ALIANZA 1901's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Aramberri came free, but Ruy Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jesse Van den Ende in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruy Berger saved ALIANZA 1901 from getting behind. ALIANZA 1901's Ruy Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Aramberri in the 62nd minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, ALIANZA 1901's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Aramberri came free, but Ruy Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Restu Almendras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richie Ason in the 64th minute of the match. A collision led to ALIANZA 1901 getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Luis Escobar hit a great ball. The supporters of ALIANZA 1901 booed when New Alianza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertol Heban didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, ALIANZA 1901's Luis Escobar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Alfredo Tomasini was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. ALIANZA 1901's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jesse Van den Ende in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruy Berger saved ALIANZA 1901 from getting behind. In the 76th minute, Luis Escobar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, New Alianza FC's Orlandus Alberete got a free kick in the 81st minute. 84 minutes into the match, New Alianza FC's goal looked a bit too open when Richie Ason came free, but Restu Almendras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Alfredo Tomasini recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Restu Almendras. Alfredo Tomasini showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. The New Alianza FC fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when New Alianza FC's Jesse Van den Ende looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ALIANZA 1901 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
