In the 35th minute Saul Aramberri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lizardi Montanez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Sporting Chilcano's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Cuerva came free, but Lizardi Montanez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Armando Santotis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Restu Almendras. Armando Santotis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fidele Gadea during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Armando Santotis to strike the kick off in the second half. The corner led New Alianza FC's Eduino Caspe to fire away a dangerous shot which Lizardi Montanez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Baiarte Cerdeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Restu Almendras having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, New Alianza FC's goal looked a bit too open when Egoi Lizarazu came free, but Restu Almendras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on New Alianza FC's corner Jesse Van den Ende fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lizardi Montanez quite easily take care of the ball. In the 91st match minute, Sporting Chilcano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baiarte Cerdeira to maneuver through the defense. Restu Almendras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Santotis, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the New Alianza FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sporting Chilcano.
