The referee showed Goizeder Bayon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. During the 24th minute of the match Goizeder Bayon completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Goizeder Bayon a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 25th match minute, Millcay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Goizeder Bayon to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Octavio Bras got free with Machado Bien in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 27 minutes Millcay 's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pero Echart who took care of the corner kick. After 28 minutes, Octavio Bras made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Millcay 's Machado Bien tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Claudinei Garaizar's late challenge caught a Majestic Club FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinei Garaizar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Majestic Club FC booed when Millcay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Garaizar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Millcay defense, Octavio Bras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Machado Bien. The Millcay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Machado Bien should have stopped the shot. Millcay 's Machado Bien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Bras in the 38th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Octavio Bras got free with Machado Bien in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ipar Llul stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 63 minutes into the match, Manu Kanu notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Millcay 's Machado Bien. Machado Bien was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Millcay 's goalkeeper Machado Bien, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 68 minutes of play, Majestic Club FC's Manu Kanu made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Machado Bien was left in no man's land by his defense there! Machado Bien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Bras, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Octavio Bras might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Machado Bien. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Octavio Bras ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Millcay getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Carolo Verganza hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the game, Majestic Club FC's Manu Kanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Machado Bien made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 92nd minute of the match Alvaro Largacha sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Machado Bien skillfully saved the ball. Ipar Llul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsenio Pelayo having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Majestic Club FC had played much better football throughout.
