Ionel Cocea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blasi Omente in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celso de Carvalho saved Alfonso Ugarte from getting behind. altos angeles were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Alfonso Ugarte's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Iratzeder Vascones took the corner. 15 minutes into the match, Cenan Yılkan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ionel Cocea. altos angeles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cenan Yılkan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Ionel Cocea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cenan Yılkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Cenan Yılkan put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Ionel Cocea. Ionel Cocea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atauri Urquiaga in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Cenan Yılkan notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of altos angeles's Ionel Cocea. Ionel Cocea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Celso de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vennancio Antecha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lobo Bujia kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, altos angeles's goal looked a bit too open when Cenan Yılkan came free, but Ionel Cocea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Patxi Deaguero fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alfonso Ugarte's protests and gave Patxi Deaguero a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Alfonso Ugarte getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Patxi Deaguero hit a great ball. Patxi Deaguero got his second yellow card in the match during the 45th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Alfonso Ugarte's Patxi Deaguero got a free kick in the 46th minute.

altos angeles's Batista Zugasti was substituted for Guillen Badia. The wind increased when Cenan Yılkan made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match Alfonso Ugarte got a corner. altos angeles's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gabrio Barzana ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blasi Omente in the 56th minute of play forced Alfonso Ugarte's goalkeeper Celso de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Cenan Yılkan took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Ionel Cocea to make any attempt to save it. Cenan Yılkan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Ionel Cocea made a huge save. Celso de Carvalho came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by altos angeles's Blasi Omente. But to his dismay, Blasi Omente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Cenan Yılkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ionel Cocea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfonso Ugarte's Bento Lebron was substituted for Honesto Idiaquez. In the 77th minute, Atauri Urquiaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bento Lebron in the 81st minute of play forced altos angeles's goalkeeper Ionel Cocea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Erdiano Gort cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Celso de Carvalho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Bento Lebron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alfonso Ugarte's supporters rose to their feet, but Bento Lebron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ionel Cocea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
