The audience thought a goal was coming when Ademar Damião got free with Celso de Carvalho in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Celso de Carvalho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel Eguntsenti went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Ademar Damião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso de Carvalho having to interfere. Tomasz Galus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cenan Yılkan's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Tomasz Galus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikolas Laredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Gonzalo Benavente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Ademar Damião took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Celso de Carvalho to make any attempt to save it. RED STAR FC.'s Cyprian Domala was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Celso de Carvalho in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tomasz Galus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cenan Yılkan in the 37th minute of play. After 41 played minutes Alfonso Ugarte got a freekick which was hit by Atauri Urquiaga. Celso de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Benavente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cenan Yılkan made a kick off. Tomasz Galus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honesto Idiaquez in the 51st minute of the match. Alfonso Ugarte's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gabrio Barzana in the 52nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Gabrio Barzana got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tomasz Galus quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cenan Yılkan in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomasz Galus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 56 minutes into the match, Gabriel Eguntsenti notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Alfonso Ugarte's Celso de Carvalho. Celso de Carvalho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 61st minute of the match, Honesto Idiaquez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tomasz Galus saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 63 minutes into the match, Alfonso Ugarte's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Benavente came free, but Celso de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Gonzalo Benavente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th match minute, Alfonso Ugarte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Níels Nesta to maneuver through the defense. After 85 minutes RED STAR FC.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gabrio Barzana who took care of the corner kick. Tomasz Galus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cenan Yılkan's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. The audience was convinced that Cenan Yılkan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomasz Galus was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Celso de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xu Xi Peng in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Atauri Urquiaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xu Xi Peng took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celso de Carvalho. Celso de Carvalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. RED STAR FC. had played much better football throughout.
