When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Cordario Ruis took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Fede Saron to make any attempt to save it. Montrelle Cuadrado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zlatan Junior in the 41st minute of the match. Montrelle Cuadrado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Badilla in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Sport Serranos's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Goodman came free, but Montrelle Cuadrado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Txeru Oyaga kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Zlatan Junior made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Zlatan Junior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Montrelle Cuadrado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saul Goodman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Montrelle Cuadrado made a huge save. Fede Saron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ederono Betances, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hardeep Kunt got free with Montrelle Cuadrado in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sport Serranos's Montrelle Cuadrado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zlatan Junior in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute Aurelio Badilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Montrelle Cuadrado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Saul Goodman in the 89th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 94 minutes into the game, Severiano Monje was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sport Serranos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.D Las Palmas - Chota the free kick. The supporters of C.D Las Palmas - Chota booed when Sport Serranos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Monje didn't get a good kick on the ball. C.D Las Palmas - Chota's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aurelio Badilla in the 96th minute. Aurelio Badilla made a great header on C.D Las Palmas - Chota's corner, it was just that Sport Serranos's Montrelle Cuadrado managed to reach the ball for a save. Sport Serranos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
