Octavio Bras might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tartalo Delatorre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Octavio Bras ran back to his position shaking his head. Tartalo Delatorre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mane Rapado, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Federico Moura made a great header on Atlético Grau Piura's corner, it was just that Majestic Club FC's Arsenio Pelayo managed to reach the ball for a save. Arsenio Pelayo was a little too slow when Fabian Oterino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabian Oterino got free with Arsenio Pelayo in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabian Oterino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tartalo Delatorre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Bras, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 89thth minute of the game Nicollao Callergos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Grau Piura's Tartalo Delatorre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 91st minute Majestic Club FC were awarded a corner. Pero Echart went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Pero Echart almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Atlético Grau Piura's Tartalo Delatorre did a great save. The Atlético Grau Piura supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Majestic Club FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Majestic Club FC.
