In the 29th minute Cordarryl Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sarracino Arranz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Atletico Vigil's Sarracino Arranz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordarryl Garcia in the 29th minute of play. Bertol Sombredo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind UCV's goalkeeper Nel Zuloaga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38th minute Club Atletico Vigil were awarded a corner. Waldemar Harendarski went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Club Atletico Vigil's corner Waldemar Harendarski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nel Zuloaga quite easily take care of the ball. Nel Zuloaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matheo Hernández in the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Bingen in the 46th minute of play forced Club Atletico Vigil's goalkeeper Sarracino Arranz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Club Atletico Vigil booed when UCV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymon Alas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nel Zuloaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafal Majczyk in the 90th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, UCV's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Baños came free, but Nel Zuloaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
