Bruno Zegarra was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Flavio Maestri capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Flavio Maestri really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Deportivo Municipal's Flavio Maestri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bruno Zegarra. That made the score 2-0 after 33 minutes of play. Los Inkas's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Flavio Maestri 41 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Bruno Zegarra was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Flavio Maestri showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 43 minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Flavio Maestri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Bruno Zegarra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Deportivo Municipal made a substitution. Arnoldo Revenga replaced Seguinus Ortega.

The wind increased when Flavio Maestri made the kick off in the second half. Bruno Zegarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Maestri in the 55th minute of play. Bruno Zegarra came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Municipal's Flavio Maestri. But to his dismay, Flavio Maestri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After 60 played minutes Deportivo Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Revenga. Los Inkas made a substitution. Menendo Romani replaced Victorino Varsana. If Flavio Maestri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Maestri in the 65th minute of play forced Los Inkas's goalkeeper Bruno Zegarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Zegarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Maestri, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Flavio Maestri made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Zegarra. Los Inkas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Flavio Maestri might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Zegarra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Flavio Maestri ran back to his position shaking his head. 72 minutes into the match, Los Inkas's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Maestri came free, but Bruno Zegarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Inkas's Arano Froiz was substituted for Telo Legarda. Zuri Serantes kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Los Inkas's Ratko Glavak threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Caleb Zegarra, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 83rd match minute, Los Inkas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caleb Zegarra to maneuver through the defense. Sendoa Montemayor hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Sendoa Montemayor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Ciano Briz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Zegarra was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Deportivo Municipal's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
