The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Bartoli Olazaran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Fryderyk Kisiel fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Papicho's protests and gave Fryderyk Kisiel a yellow card for diving instead. Fryderyk Kisiel hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Deportivo Municipal's Ratko Glavak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulryk Huk in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, AC Papicho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Ojeda to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Deportivo Municipal's Flavio Maestri ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alexander Shaw. Alexander Shaw yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 23 minutes into the match, Deportivo Municipal's Flavio Maestri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexander Shaw narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Mika Ackerman fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Papicho's protests and gave Mika Ackerman a yellow card for diving instead. 37 minutes into the game, Flavio Maestri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Alexander Shaw was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

AC Papicho's Rodolfo Mora was substituted for Barros Licon. Gianluca Lapadula's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ratko Glavak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Maestri in the 55th minute of play forced AC Papicho's goalkeeper Alexander Shaw to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Tabb Panizo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Papicho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Municipal the free kick. A collision led to AC Papicho getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Tabb Panizo hit a great ball. The supporters of AC Papicho booed when Deportivo Municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciano Briz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Deportivo Municipal's Flavio Maestri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexander Shaw made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. AC Papicho made a substitution. 孟弘银 replaced Ulryk Huk. AC Papicho's Frasquito Abrego was substituted for Gianluca Lapadula. Alexander Shaw showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Maestri in the 67th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Flavio Maestri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Shaw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Municipal's Seguinus Ortega got a free kick in the 76th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Frasquito Abrego notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Deportivo Municipal's Ratko Glavak. Ratko Glavak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frasquito Abrego recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Deportivo Municipal's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
