Bruno Zegarra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cresitobalo Rilo in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Benet Baizan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Cusco FC booed when Los Inkas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fortunato Muela didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 33 minutes of play, Cusco FC's Cresitobalo Rilo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Zegarra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cresitobalo Rilo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Bruno Zegarra made a huge save. Cresitobalo Rilo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bruno Zegarra came out and tried to block the shot, but Cresitobalo Rilo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 36th minute. Los Inkas's Bruno Zegarra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabon Salantes in the 41st minute of play. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Gabon Salantes sped through Los Inkas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Zegarra. In the 45th minute Benet Baizan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Schönberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Caleb Zegarra made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Gabon Salantes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Bruno Zegarra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bruno Zegarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cresitobalo Rilo in the 57th minute of play. Johan Schönberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benet Baizan, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute.
