Hermann Hesse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Bartolo Basualdo got a free kick in the 20th minute. When Bartolo Basualdo came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Deportivo Popolizio FBC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartolo Basualdo couldn't finish the play. Hermann Hesse didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Justino Gotzon went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 33 minutes into the game, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Bartolo Basualdo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orlando Rivera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Todos al Fondo's goalkeeper Orlando Rivera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Orlando Rivera was a little too slow when Bartolo Basualdo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 1-3. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Joao Montanez was substituted for Gaizkine Ibern. 65 minutes into the match, Todos al Fondo's Justino Gotzon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hermann Hesse narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Erruki Velarroa could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Orlando Rivera however easily saved by the left post. With his leg Orlando Rivera managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Erruki Velarroa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Joao Montanez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orlando Rivera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Todos al Fondo's Orlando Rivera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joao Montanez in the 79th minute of play. Todos al Fondo's Orlando Rivera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Todos al Fondo from getting a goal against them. 84 minutes into the match, Todos al Fondo's goalkeeper Orlando Rivera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erruki Velarroa. In the 85th minute, Justino Gotzon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hermann Hesse was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Todos al Fondo's Maurito Boselli was substituted for Pascual Eliazar. 90 minutes into the match, Maurito Boselli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hermann Hesse. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maurito Boselli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Hermann Hesse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yu Nan Li in the 94th minute of play. With a little luck, Todos al Fondo's Orlando Rivera got control of the ball when Joao Montanez tried to sneak it across the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
