An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurinho Mendonça in the 5th minute of play forced Alianza Trujillo's goalkeeper Tomas Brandt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Birila Graña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szilveszter Szegh, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Maurinho Mendonça who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Tomas Brandt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 12 minutes into the match, Claretiano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Szilveszter Szegh came free, but Birila Graña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Birila Graña came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Alianza Trujillo's Marcelito Vivar. But to his dismay, Marcelito Vivar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 17 minutes into the game, Froilan Pascual cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Birila Graña was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Claretiano FC's Maurinho Mendonça in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alianza Trujillo's goalie prevented a goal. 28 minutes into the match, Claretiano FC's Maurinho Mendonça sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomas Brandt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 36 minutes, Olly Morgan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alianza Trujillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olly Morgan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maurinho Mendonça who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Tomas Brandt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 40th match minute, Alianza Trujillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertil Ekström to maneuver through the defense. After 42 played minutes Claretiano FC got a freekick which was hit by Favila Ribadas. 46 minutes into the game, Norino Tostado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Claretiano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alianza Trujillo the free kick. After the first half Alianza Trujillo were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Szilveszter Szegh took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Birila Graña. Birila Graña dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Jean-Luc Picard got a throw-in 59 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Fermin Donzel. Tiadoro Folguera hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Birila Graña made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cayetano Montez in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute Szilveszter Szegh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birila Graña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Claretiano FC's Birila Graña got control of the ball when Marcelito Vivar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Birila Graña made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelito Vivar in the 73rd minute. In the 76th match minute, Claretiano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Malta to maneuver through the defense. Ruben Malta kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute of the match Szilveszter Szegh sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Birila Graña skillfully saved the ball. Tomas Brandt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maurinho Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Birila Graña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szilveszter Szegh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the game, Christian Kabasele was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alianza Trujillo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Claretiano FC the free kick. In the 90th minute, Christian Kabasele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Brandt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maurinho Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Alianza Trujillo's Tomas Brandt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurinho Mendonça in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alianza Trujillo's goalkeeper Tomas Brandt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alianza Trujillo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
