After a defensive mix-up in Alianza Trujillo's zone, Jorrin Briones stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Brandt came out of the goal and Jorrin Briones tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the game, Joseph Schwarzfischer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Tomas Brandt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcelito Vivar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Ferenc Tököli made a huge save. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Ferenc Tököli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Rapsodas Red Devils FC from getting a goal against them. Christian Kabasele made in the 41st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Marcelito Vivar however managed to control. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
