Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Giancarlo Rios kicked off to start the match. Toto Pinilla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eloy Escalona showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 2 minute of play. Rafael Moreno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Chimán F.C.'s goalkeeper Toto Pinilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giancarlo Rios. A collision led to Chepo F.C. getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Agustin Bultrón hit a great ball. Toto Pinilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Escalona, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The supporters of Chepo F.C. booed when Chimán F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toto De Paredes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giancarlo Rios struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Toto Pinilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chepo F.C.. Toto De Paredes kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Rafael Moreno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chimán F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Rigoberto Henriguez's late challenge caught a Chimán F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rigoberto Henriguez helped the player get up and apologised. Rigoberto Henriguez kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. When Nicolás Gutierrez came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Chimán F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolás Gutierrez couldn't finish the play. Chepo F.C.'s Eloy Escalona got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Calito Herrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesar Ortega, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th match minute, Chimán F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolás Gutierrez to maneuver through the defense. Chimán F.C.'s Toto Pinilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Escalona in the 36th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Chimán F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Américo Muñoz to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Eloy Escalona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eloy Escalona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Toto De Paredes hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Moreno to make the kick off. Calito Herrera came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Chimán F.C.'s Rafael Moreno. But to his dismay, Rafael Moreno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Humberto Peren hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. The supporters of Chepo F.C. booed when Chimán F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Totin Corral didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 minutes, Eloy Escalona mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chepo F.C. and the Chimán F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Chimán F.C. booed when Chepo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Escalona didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Giancarlo Rios had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Toto Pinilla . Chimán F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giancarlo Rios was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexander Gomez during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 69 played minutes Chepo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Gomez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Escalona in the 74th minute of play forced Chimán F.C.'s goalkeeper Toto Pinilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toto Pinilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giancarlo Rios in the 75th minute of play. Giancarlo Rios might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toto Pinilla . Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giancarlo Rios ran back to his position shaking his head. Giancarlo Rios scored 3-2 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Toto Pinilla , who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85thth minute of the game Eloy Escalona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chimán F.C.'s Toto Pinilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cesar Ortega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Calito Herrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexander Gomez kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Eloy Escalona scored 4-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Toto Pinilla , who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chepo F.C. had played much better football throughout.
