Jonathan Briceño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrés Centella having to interfere. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mañanitas's goalkeeper Andrés Centella, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ramon Carrillo came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Mañanitas's Totín Oberto. But to his dismay, Totín Oberto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Jonathan Briceño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alexis Oberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrés Centella having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Enrique Escobar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramon Carrillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Briceño in the 66th minute of play forced Mañanitas's goalkeeper Andrés Centella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Escobar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexis Oberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the game, Toto Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aguadulce F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mañanitas the free kick. Toto Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Jonathan Briceño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrés Centella having to interfere. Andrés Centella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexis Oberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Andrés Centella didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexis Oberto went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Alexis Oberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexis Oberto in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrés Centella saved Mañanitas from getting behind.
