Romel Sánchez's late challenge caught a Entradero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Gilberto Paredes took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Romel Morales to make any attempt to save it. 15 minutes into the match, Emiliano Villarreal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Muñoz. Entradero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emiliano Villarreal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Lucho Ortega hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Gilberto Paredes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Entradero booed when San Blas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Moreno didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Emiliano Villarreal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39thth minute of the game Victor Lao who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Entradero's Juan Muñoz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Villarreal in the 43rd minute of play forced Entradero's goalkeeper Juan Muñoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romel Morales having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Lucho Ortega charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucho Ortega the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 played minutes Entradero got a freekick which was hit by Lucho Ortega. Milton Nuñez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 75 minutes of play, Entradero's Milton Nuñez made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romel Morales was left in no man's land by his defense there! Milton Nuñez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. San Blas's Romel Morales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Paredes in the 80th minute of play. When Gilberto Paredes came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Entradero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Paredes couldn't finish the play. Romel Morales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milton Nuñez, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Entradero's Lucho Ortega got his second yellow card of the match in the 89th minute. The referee ordered Lucho Ortega off the ground. Lucho Ortega hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Entradero's goalkeeper Juan Muñoz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Entradero's Juan Muñoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Lao in the 95th minute of play. San Blas's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
