Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Entradero's Gilberto Paredes in the 22nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Ramon Carrillo was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Aguadulce F.C. through an amazing save. In the 22nd play minute Gilberto Paredes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ramon Carrillo. 1-0. Alexis Oberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Juan Muñoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilberto Paredes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramon Carrillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Ramon Carrillo was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Gilberto Paredes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gilberto Paredes really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Entradero's zone, Alexis Oberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Muñoz came out of the goal and Alexis Oberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, Entradero's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Briceño came free, but Juan Muñoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Entradero's Lucho Ortega got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rdth minute of the game Jonathan Briceño who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Entradero's Juan Muñoz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Reggie Castillo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Entradero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aguadulce F.C. the free kick. After 44 played minutes Entradero got a freekick which was hit by Reggie Castillo. If Jonathan Briceño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilberto Paredes to strike the kick off in the second half. When Andres Mendieta fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aguadulce F.C.'s protests and gave Andres Mendieta a yellow card for diving instead. Andres Mendieta hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Reggie Castillo didn't quite understand what happened when in the 53 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. If Alexis Oberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lucho Ortega fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Entradero's protests and gave Lucho Ortega a yellow card for diving instead. Milton Nuñez struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Ramon Carrillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Entradero. In the 73rd match minute, Aguadulce F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toto Castro to maneuver through the defense. Entradero's Milton Nuñez managed to work through Aguadulce F.C.'s defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Milton Nuñez dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Ramon Carrillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Paredes in the 78th minute of the match.
