Enrique Escobar hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Gilberto Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Andrés Centella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Entradero got a freekick which was hit by Sebastián Pinilla. Martín Quirós hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Gilberto Paredes succeeded in the game's 28th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Martín Quirós could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Juan Muñoz made a huge save. Entradero's Gilberto Paredes got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the game, Totín Oberto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mañanitas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Entradero the free kick. Totín Oberto hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Mañanitas's Andrés Centella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milton Nuñez in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Paredes in the 39th minute of play forced Mañanitas's goalkeeper Andrés Centella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milton Nuñez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrés Centella came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Entradero's Milton Nuñez. But to his dismay, Milton Nuñez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilberto Paredes was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Enrique Escobar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Muñoz was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. 54 minutes into the match, Gilberto Paredes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Andrés Centella, 0-3. 59 minutes into the match, Martín Quirós notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Entradero's Juan Muñoz. A collision led to Entradero getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Lucho Ortega hit a great ball. Enrique Escobar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Muñoz having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Entradero's Sebastián Pinilla got a free kick in the 87th minute. Juan Muñoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martín Quirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulpiano Bermudez charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulpiano Bermudez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mañanitas:s Andrés Centella showed great skill when he stopped Sebastián Pinilla:s penalty. In the 94th minute of the match Entradero got a corner. Mañanitas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sebastián Pinilla ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Entradero's Eloy Ulloa to a score. 1-4 in the 94th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Entradero eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
