In the 97th minute, Luchito Cedeño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Cerro Punta supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Aguadulce F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Aguadulce F.C..
