Juan Muñoz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 5th minute, took the ball on the long shot from David Spadafora. Reinaldo Chavez in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Juan Muñoz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Reinaldo Chavez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Juan Muñoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, David Spadafora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Llano Marín's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Spadafora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Reinaldo Chavez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Llano Marín's supporters rose to their feet, but Reinaldo Chavez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Muñoz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the match, Entradero's goal looked a bit too open when David Spadafora came free, but Juan Muñoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Reinaldo Chavez made a precise shot to the right of Juan Muñoz. Entradero's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Reinaldo Chavez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Muñoz having to interfere. Reggie Castillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Wiliam Morales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wiliam Morales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Paredes in the 32nd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, Lucho Ortega was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Entradero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Llano Marín the free kick. In the 36th minute, Lucho Ortega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reinaldo Chavez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Juan Muñoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Milton Nuñez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Muñoz in the 45th minute of play forced Entradero's goalkeeper Juan Muñoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Spadafora was the one to do the kick off. Wiliam Morales came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Entradero's Milton Nuñez. But to his dismay, Milton Nuñez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Llano Marín's David Spadafora got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 65 played minutes Entradero got a freekick which was hit by Reggie Castillo. David Spadafora struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Juan Muñoz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Llano Marín. 69 minutes into the match, Llano Marín's goalkeeper Wiliam Morales had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milton Nuñez. If Gilberto Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Llano Marín's goalkeeper Wiliam Morales, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Milton Nuñez got free in front of the goal in the 85th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Wiliam Morales was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Milton Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilberto Paredes struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Wiliam Morales didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Entradero. Llano Marín's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Gilberto Paredes scored to the left of an out of position Wiliam Morales, making the score, 1-2. The Entradero supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Entradero would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
