Meteti F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave María Chiquita the free kick. In the 6th minute, Jaime Murillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Herbruger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cesar Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesar Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Reinaldo Pérez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Juan Herbruger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Monchi Gutierrez got free with Jonathan Zapata in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Jaime Ramirez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meteti F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Ramirez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reinaldo Pérez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute, Juan Herbruger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th match minute, María Chiquita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Ulloa to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute, Hermes Carranza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Meteti F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Reinaldo Pérez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guillermo Ulloa hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half Meteti F.C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Jonathan Zapata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monchi Gutierrez in the 56th minute of the match. Jaime Ramirez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Jaime Ramirez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meteti F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Ramirez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When Cesar Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Meteti F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesar Murillo couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Meteti F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
