Spectators: 6782 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Javier Gil took the kick off in the first half of the match. Monchi Gutierrez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Paredes having to interfere. Juan Herbruger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Javier Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reinaldo Pérez made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Reinaldo Escalona sent off a good shot on target. 17 minutes into the match, Chilibre F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Monchi Gutierrez came free, but Javier Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Reinaldo Escalona came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Chilibre F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reinaldo Escalona couldn't finish the play. Monchi Gutierrez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Javier Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When María Chiquita's Juan Herbruger in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, María Chiquita's Miguel Morales got a free kick in the 34th minute. Reinaldo Escalona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Herbruger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Juan Herbruger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Javier Paredes. Chilibre F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Herbruger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Juan Herbruger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Javier Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Herbruger made a kick off. After a rather tough play, María Chiquita's Ramón Arauz got a free kick in the 59th minute. 62 minutes into the match, María Chiquita's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo Escalona came free, but Reinaldo Pérez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Brandao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Reinaldo Pérez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Chilibre F.C.'s Alexander Posam in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Reinaldo Pérez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Gil, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 77th minute of the match, Monchi Gutierrez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Javier Paredes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 80th minute, Juan Herbruger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Javier Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Herbruger in the 84th minute of play. María Chiquita's Reinaldo Pérez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinaldo Escalona in the 86th minute of play. If Monchi Gutierrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reinaldo Escalona in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reinaldo Pérez saved María Chiquita from getting behind. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chilibre F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while María Chiquita had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
