The Chilibre F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Javier Paredes should have stopped the shot. Enrique Zapata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Javier Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sabanitas F.C.'s Juan Escalona got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 13 minutes into the game, Enrique Zapata cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Javier Paredes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Javier Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Zapata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Max Gómez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Javier Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sabanitas F.C.'s Nicolás De Gracia got a free kick in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Sabanitas F.C.'s goalkeeper Javier Zapata had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reinaldo Escalona. Reinaldo Escalona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Zapata having to interfere. If Enrique Zapata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 minutes of play, Sabanitas F.C.'s Juan Escalona made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Javier Paredes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Enrique Zapata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sabanitas F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Zapata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier Paredes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chilibre F.C.'s Javier Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Zapata in the 44th minute of play. Max Gómez hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The Chilibre F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sabanitas F.C. were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Escalona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Javier Paredes managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Sabanitas F.C.'s Enrique Zapata fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Chilibre F.C.'s Alexander Posam got a free kick in the 56th minute. Juan Escalona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Juan Escalona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Javier Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Escalona in the 75th minute of the match. A collision led to Sabanitas F.C. getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Max Gómez hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reinaldo Escalona in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier Zapata saved Sabanitas F.C. from getting behind. Javier Paredes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Escalona's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute Juan Escalona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Chilibre F.C. getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Wiliam Villalaz hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Wilfredo De Paredes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Chilibre F.C.'s Javier Paredes didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Escalona in the 89th minute of play forced Chilibre F.C.'s goalkeeper Javier Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 90 in the game by Enrique Zapata from a close distance when the talented Javier Paredes managed to make a qualified save. Chilibre F.C.'s players were relieved. Enrique Zapata in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Javier Paredes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Enrique Zapata's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 99thth minute, Javier Paredes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match was over Sabanitas F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chilibre F.C. throughout the match.
