Orlando Brandao's late challenge caught a María Chiquita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. La Pesa F.C.'s Reggie Castillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save La Pesa F.C. from getting a goal against them. Juan Herbruger was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. María Chiquita's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a little luck, La Pesa F.C.'s Reggie Castillo got control of the ball when Monchi Gutierrez tried to sneak it across the goal line. María Chiquita were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
