Matias Zapata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Athletic Buffy Bantan defense, Enrique Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hector Tijero. The Athletic Buffy Bantan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hector Tijero should have stopped the shot. Enrique Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hector Tijero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Zapata in the 12th minute of play. Américo Zambrano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Corral in the 13th minute of the match. If Matias Corral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 played minutes Puerto Indio F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Gomez. Américo Zambrano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Corral, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Matias Zapata struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Hector Tijero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puerto Indio F.C.. Enrique Murillo took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hector Tijero. Hector Tijero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hector De Leon during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Américo Zambrano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hermes Morris in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute, Eduardo Castillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 33 minutes, Matias Corral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Athletic Buffy Bantan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Corral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matias Corral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hector Tijero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Murillo in the 40th minute of play. Enrique Murillo scored 0-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hector Tijero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Puerto Indio F.C. were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matias Corral to strike the kick off in the second half. 0-4 became the score in the 52nd minute when Enrique Murillo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Enrique Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puerto Indio F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hector Tijero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Puerto Indio F.C.'s Enrique Murillo in 60 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Hector Tijero guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After 67 played minutes Athletic Buffy Bantan got a freekick which was hit by Matias Corral. Francesco Ríos hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Beto Brandao charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beto Brandao the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Puerto Indio F.C.! The referee gave Athletic Buffy Bantan a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Azael Garcia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Puerto Indio F.C.'s Américo Zambrano. 1-4. Hector Tijero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Matias Corral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Athletic Buffy Bantan's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Corral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Américo Zambrano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hermes Morris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Américo Zambrano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Humberto Oberto fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Puerto Indio F.C.'s protests and gave Humberto Oberto a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Puerto Indio F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Athletic Buffy Bantan a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Azael Garcia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Puerto Indio F.C.'s Américo Zambrano. 2-5. Hector Tijero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrique Murillo's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 100th minute, Matias Corral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Athletic Buffy Bantan's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Corral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Américo Zambrano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Puerto Indio F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
