Francesco Spadafora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Villarreal having to interfere. Max Villarreal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francesco Spadafora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the game, Leonidas Lao was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Llano De Piedra F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nuevo Emperador F.C. the free kick. Nuevo Emperador F.C.'s Francesco Spadafora was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 11th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luchito Sobenis in the 21st minute of play forced Nuevo Emperador F.C.'s goalkeeper Reinaldo Toledano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Leonidas Lao was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 23 minutes had been played. In the 23rd minute, Leonidas Lao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Llano De Piedra F.C.'s goalkeeper Max Villarreal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cesar Toledano. If Cesar Toledano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francesco Spadafora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Villarreal having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, Llano De Piedra F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Gil to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute, Luchito Garcia sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Llano De Piedra F.C.'s Max Villarreal didn't even have to move. Max Villarreal was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Francesco Spadafora capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Francesco Spadafora really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Max Villarreal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francesco Spadafora, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francesco Spadafora was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Nuevo Emperador F.C.'s Mario Urane got a free kick in the 54th minute. Francesco Spadafora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Max Villarreal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Francesco Spadafora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Villarreal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luchito Sobenis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinaldo Toledano having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Pedro Urane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Urane came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Reinaldo Toledano could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Toledano in the 76th minute of play forced Llano De Piedra F.C.'s goalkeeper Max Villarreal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Max Villarreal came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Nuevo Emperador F.C.'s Cesar Toledano. But to his dismay, Cesar Toledano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Llano De Piedra F.C.'s zone, Cesar Toledano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Max Villarreal came out of the goal and Cesar Toledano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Nuevo Emperador F.C.'s Reinaldo Toledano got control of the ball when Pedro Urane tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cesar Toledano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Max Villarreal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Urane got free with Reinaldo Toledano in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nuevo Emperador F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
