Spectators: 6800 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 0) Luchito Sobenis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Hector Castillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Urane in the 4th minute. With a little luck, Ailigandí's Hector Castillo got control of the ball when Jaime Gil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Heraclides Ramírez took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Max Villarreal. Max Villarreal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Juan Fernández fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Villarreal having to interfere. When Joe Amaya came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Ailigandí fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joe Amaya couldn't finish the play. Rafael Gomez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Villarreal having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Quirós in the 24th minute of play forced Llano De Piedra F.C.'s goalkeeper Max Villarreal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ailigandí's Rafael Gomez got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juan Fernández recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Quirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Villarreal having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Juan Quirós left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ailigandí fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The Llano De Piedra F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ailigandí were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Heraclides Ramírez to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Heraclides Ramírez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ailigandí's supporters rose to their feet, but Heraclides Ramírez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Max Villarreal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute Luchito Sobenis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Castillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 58 minutes, Heraclides Ramírez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ailigandí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Heraclides Ramírez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joe Amaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Max Villarreal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Llano De Piedra F.C.'s goalkeeper Max Villarreal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Quirós. Leonidas Lao kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Juan Quirós struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Max Villarreal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ailigandí. After a rather tough play, Ailigandí's Christian Villalaz got a free kick in the 74th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Llano De Piedra F.C.'s Max Bultrón tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 80 minutes, Jaime Gil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Llano De Piedra F.C. and the Ailigandí players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Jaime Gil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 81 minutes of play, Ailigandí's Lorenzo De Leon made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Max Villarreal was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Juan Quirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heraclides Ramírez struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Max Villarreal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ailigandí. Max Villarreal made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Juan Quirós sent off a good shot on target. The Llano De Piedra F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ailigandí were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
