The supporters of Coetupo F.C. booed when Santa Ana Arriba F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Gómez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Santa Ana Arriba F.C.'s zone, Leonidas Moscoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Villalobos came out of the goal and Leonidas Moscoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute, Francesco Villarreal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 25 minutes, Leonidas Moscoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martín Nuñez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Andres Morris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Mario Arias made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Santa Ana Arriba F.C.'s Jonathan Osorio got a free kick in the 51st minute. Jonathan Villalobos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Andres Morris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coetupo F.C.'s goalkeeper Andres Morris, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Max Aizprua fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coetupo F.C.'s protests and gave Max Aizprua a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd minute, Max Aizprua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coetupo F.C.'s goalkeeper Andres Morris, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andres Morris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martín Nuñez in the 86th minute of play. Andres Morris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Villalobos, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. If Leonidas Moscoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
