In the 27th match minute, Nuevo Vigía was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Smith to maneuver through the defense. Mario Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlando García showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Moscoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute.

The wind increased when Beto Centella made the kick off in the second half. Orlando García made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Centella in the 58th minute of play. The Nuevo Vigía fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hector Morris should have stopped the shot. After having played for 83 minutes, Mario Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chilibre F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Arias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th match minute, Nuevo Vigía was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Moscoso to maneuver through the defense. If Mario Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlando García showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Centella, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Felipe Moscoso struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Orlando García didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nuevo Vigía. In the 96th minute Beto Centella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando García saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nuevo Vigía players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chilibre F.C..
