Matias Escalona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francesco Mendoza, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Andres Gil's late challenge caught a Caimitillo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andres Gil helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute, Andres Gil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moisés Trejos kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Eduardo Carranza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eduardo Carranza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Peralta having to interfere. In the 26th minute Rafael Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Escalona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Caimitillo booed when Finca Cincuenta Y Uno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Jaen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduardo Carranza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francesco Mendoza made a kick off. Caimitillo's Rafael Rios got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Finca Cincuenta Y Uno! When the match had been going on for 59 minutes, Caimitillo's Luis Peralta got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Matias Escalona. When Eduardo Carranza came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Finca Cincuenta Y Uno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Carranza couldn't finish the play. Eduardo Carranza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Moisés Peralta having to make a save. In the 93rd match minute, Caimitillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giancarlo Jaen to maneuver through the defense. Lorenzo Jaen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermes Lao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 101st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Peralta having to interfere.
