Davor Suker FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Puerto Escondido the free kick. The supporters of Puerto Escondido booed when Davor Suker FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro De Diego didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reggie Peren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Villarreal in the 5th minute of play. After 16 minutes of play, Puerto Escondido's Giancarlo Sobenis made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reggie Peren was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Davor Suker FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Pedro De Diego hit a great ball. Ramon Villarreal scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reggie Peren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Andrés Barrera's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Lucho De Paredes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Giancarlo Sobenis took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reggie Peren. Reggie Peren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan De Diego in the 28th minute of play forced Davor Suker FC's goalkeeper Reggie Peren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Davor Suker FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Villarreal came free, but Reggie Peren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 minutes, Ramon Villarreal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Puerto Escondido and the Davor Suker FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 32 played minutes Puerto Escondido got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Villarreal. When Luis Morales fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Puerto Escondido's protests and gave Luis Morales a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, Luis Morales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute Ramon Villarreal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reggie Peren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, José Tello took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Lucho De Paredes to make any attempt to save it. Ramon Villarreal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Reggie Peren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Puerto Escondido's Lucho De Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Tello in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

53 minutes into the match, Puerto Escondido's Luis Morales sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reggie Peren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Davor Suker FC were furious when Fabio Jaen was red carded, 61 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Ramon Villarreal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reggie Peren having to interfere. With a little luck, Davor Suker FC's Reggie Peren got control of the ball when Jonathan De Diego tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, Puerto Escondido was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giancarlo Sobenis to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan De Diego got free with Reggie Peren in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Jonathan De Diego could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Reggie Peren however easily saved by the left post. 81 minutes into the match, Davor Suker FC's Andrés Barrera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucho De Paredes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luis Morales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucho De Paredes came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Davor Suker FC's Andrés Barrera. But to his dismay, Andrés Barrera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. With a little luck, Davor Suker FC's Reggie Peren got control of the ball when Ramon Villarreal tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrés Barrera in the 96th minute of play forced Puerto Escondido's goalkeeper Lucho De Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramon Villarreal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Puerto Escondido players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
