With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergio Alfaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Club Atletico Paisa booed when Dolega F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastián Trejos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Barrera made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Orlando Castro sent off a good shot on target. Wiliam Arauz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Franklin Vergara reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luis Barrera. The goal made the score 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Wiliam Arauz made the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored Dolega F.C.'s protests and gave Orlando Castro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Dolega F.C.'s Orlando Castro got a free kick in the 70th minute. Luis Barrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiliam Arauz in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Sebastián Trejos made a precise shot to the right of Luis Barrera.
