Juan Lao blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agustin Tello having to make a save. If Luis Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the BiGMTeam defense, Luis Castillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agustin Tello. The BiGMTeam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agustin Tello should have stopped the shot. 28 minutes into the match, BiGMTeam's Sebastián De Paredes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilfredo Oberto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Luis Castillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agustin Tello didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 32nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastián De Paredes to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Franklin Lozano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BiGMTeam's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Isla Grande F.C. the free kick. A collision led to BiGMTeam getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Franklin Lozano hit a great ball. If Sebastián De Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Murillo came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wilfredo Oberto could save by the left post. If Juan Lao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Isla Grande F.C.'s Wiliam García got a free kick in the 66th minute. After 68 minutes of play, Isla Grande F.C.'s Luis Castillo made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Agustin Tello was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leonidas Agurto charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonidas Agurto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of BiGMTeam booed when Isla Grande F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonidas Agurto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franklin Arauz's late challenge caught a Isla Grande F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Franklin Arauz helped the player get up and apologised. Franklin Arauz hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Luis Castillo made a precise shot to the right of Agustin Tello. BiGMTeam's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After some careless play in the BiGMTeam defense, Luis Castillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agustin Tello. The BiGMTeam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agustin Tello should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, BiGMTeam's Sebastián De Paredes got a free kick in the 88th minute. Wilfredo Oberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastián De Paredes, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Luis Murillo struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Wilfredo Oberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BiGMTeam. There was no doubt that Isla Grande F.C. were the better team. Isla Grande F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
