Spectators: 6789 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1789, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Juan Valdez got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rdth minute of the game Juan Valdez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bethania F.C.'s Lorenzo Fernández was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emiliano Mora recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Escobal's Rafael Tello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Aizprua in the 7th minute of play. Guillermo Herbruger kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Rafael Tello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Mora in the 10th minute of play. Rafael Tello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Mora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Emiliano Mora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Valdez in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lorenzo Fernández saved Bethania F.C. from getting behind. Rafael Tello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Mora in the 23rd minute of play. Lorenzo Fernández took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Valdez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 32 minutes, Emiliano Mora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bethania F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Mora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Escobal getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Gustavo Villalobos hit a great ball. If Guillermo Herbruger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Escobal's zone, Emiliano Mora stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Tello came out of the goal and Emiliano Mora tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bethania F.C.'s Pablo Aizprua got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emiliano Mora's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Tello read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Felipe Urane hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

If Guillermo Herbruger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guillermo Herbruger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Fernández having to interfere. After 61 minutes, Nicolás Carrillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bethania F.C. and the Escobal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nicolás Carrillo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Bethania F.C.'s Lorenzo Fernández played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Valdez in the 66th minute of play. Gustavo Villalobos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pablo Aizprua in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Tello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emiliano Mora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Rafael Tello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Rafael Tello successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 75th minute, Javier De Diego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Valdez in the 77th minute of play forced Bethania F.C.'s goalkeeper Lorenzo Fernández to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Aizprua in the 81st minute of play forced Escobal's goalkeeper Rafael Tello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bethania F.C.'s Lorenzo Fernández played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Villalobos in the 84th minute of play. Emiliano Mora who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Rafael Tello when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 93 minutes, Juan Valdez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escobal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Valdez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
