Spectators: 6807 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1807, VIP seats: 0) Gustavo Arias made the kick off and thus started the match. Sergio Peren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Arias in the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Agustin Pérez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Peren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Totin Castillero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Andres Espino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ailigandí's Elias Arias got a free kick in the 12th minute. Totin Castilleros short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Andres Espino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Andres Espino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Gómez in the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Isla Caña F.C.'s Totin Castillero got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 25th minute, Marcos Gómez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 30 played minutes Ailigandí got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Nuñez. Marcos Gómez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andres Espino having to make a save. Isla Caña F.C.'s Marcos Gómez got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Marcos Gómez fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Totin Castillero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Isla Caña F.C. booed when Ailigandí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Nuñez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ailigandí's Andres Espino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Gómez in the 46th minute of play. Reggie Villalaz shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 50th minute Marcos Gómez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Espino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcos Gómez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Ailigandí's zone, Marcos Gómez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andres Espino came out of the goal and Marcos Gómez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulpiano Centella kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Totin Castillero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Totin Castillero struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Andres Espino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Isla Caña F.C.. After 70 minutes of play Ailigandí's Elias Arias was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Ailigandí's Andres Espino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Gómez in the 76th minute of play. Isla Caña F.C.'s Romel Mendoza got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Gómez in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andres Espino saved Ailigandí from getting behind. A collision led to Ailigandí getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Gustavo Arias hit a great ball. Isla Caña F.C.'s Reggie Villalaz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ailigandí. When the match clock showed 97 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Marcos Gómez sped through Ailigandí's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andres Espino. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Isla Caña F.C. had played much better football throughout.
