Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) Calito Sobenis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Calito Sobenis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Rafael Tello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 9 played minutes Escobal got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Villalobos. After recieving a nice pass, Nata F.C.'s Edgardo Peralta tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 11th match minute, Escobal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano De Leon to maneuver through the defense. José Perez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elias Valdez kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Edgardo Peralta, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rafael Tello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calito Sobenis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Escobal getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Elias Valdez hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that José Perez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafael Tello was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Escobal's zone, José Perez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Tello came out of the goal and José Perez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute, Calito Sobenis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Calito Sobenis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Felipe Urane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Escobal's Rafael Tello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calito Sobenis in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Juan Valdez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escobal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Valdez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nata F.C.'s Lorenzo Villalaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Nata F.C. from getting a goal against them. Juan Valdez struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Lorenzo Villalaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escobal. If José Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lorenzo Villalaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Valdez in the 45th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Juan Valdez took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Lorenzo Villalaz to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Juan Valdez charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Valdez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Juan Valdez hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. José Perez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Rafael Tello made a huge save. Calito Sobenis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Tello read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Rafael Tello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calito Sobenis, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. A collision led to Escobal getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Elias Valdez hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Perez got free with Rafael Tello in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 78 minutes into the game, Juan Valdez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Lorenzo Villalaz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lorenzo Villalaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Herbruger, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Azael Lozano hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Valdez in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lorenzo Villalaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Escobal fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nata F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
