Milton Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Max Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Ustupo were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Milton Arias to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto García in the 52nd minute of play forced Ustupo's goalkeeper Max Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Tolé's corner Jose De Leon fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Max Batista quite easily take care of the ball. Alejandro Murillo kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Max Batista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milton Arias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Tolé's Jaime Bermudez got control of the ball when Pablo Trejos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 90 played minutes Tolé got a freekick which was hit by Felix Amaya. Ustupo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
