Max Batista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beto Smith in the 31st minute. When Alejandro Gomez came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Aguadulce F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Gomez couldn't finish the play. Max Batista made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Beto Smith sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alejandro Murillo during the 37th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Orlando Fernández made the kick off in the second half. In the 56thth minute of the game Beto Smith who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ustupo's Max Batista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ustupo's Alejandro Murillo got his second yellow card of the match in the 64th minute. The referee ordered Alejandro Murillo off the ground. Alejandro Murillo kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Tomaso Ríos hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Max Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Smith in the 90th minute of play.
