The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orlando Fernández stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felipe Posam might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Max Batista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Posam ran back to his position shaking his head. 92 minutes into the game, Santa Cruz F.C.'s Raul Centella nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Max Batista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
