Spectators: 6794 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1794, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Michael Wicks got the match started through his kick off. Reinaldo Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Wicks, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Hector Gutierrez scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reinaldo Moreno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Michael Wicks blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reinaldo Moreno having to make a save. In the 14thth minute of the game Michael Wicks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dolega F.C.'s Reinaldo Moreno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16th minute Michael Wicks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaldo Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michael Wicks in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reinaldo Moreno saved Dolega F.C. from getting behind. Shimizu S-Pulse F.C were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Dolega F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vismantas Garlauskas took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Vismantas Garlauskas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Reinaldo Moreno quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Dolega F.C. getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Orlando Quirós hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michael Wicks in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reinaldo Moreno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michael Wicks took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reinaldo Moreno. Reinaldo Moreno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Reinaldo Moreno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michael Wicks's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Jonathan Barrera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orlando Quirós stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Michael Wicks dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Reinaldo Moreno, 0-5. If Michael Wicks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd play minute Michael Wicks came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Reinaldo Moreno. 0-6. Javier Morales took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Guillermo Oberto. Shimizu S-Pulse F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Dolega F.C.'s zone, Vismantas Garlauskas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reinaldo Moreno came out of the goal and Vismantas Garlauskas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Michael Wicks struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Reinaldo Moreno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shimizu S-Pulse F.C. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michael Wicks in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reinaldo Moreno saved Dolega F.C. from getting behind. In the 85th minute, Hector Gutierrez fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Michael Wicks struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Reinaldo Moreno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shimizu S-Pulse F.C. Reinaldo Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Wicks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd match minute, Dolega F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Morris to maneuver through the defense. If Orlando Quirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Shimizu S-Pulse F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dolega F.C..
