Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Javier Mota to make the kick off. Alejandro Tijero's late challenge caught a Bocatoneña FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alejandro Tijero helped the player get up and apologised. After 55 played minutes Canoa got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Tijero. Eloy Sánchez came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Bocatoneña FC's Javier Mota. But to his dismay, Javier Mota quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Javier Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Bocatoneña FC's Reinaldo Valdez got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardo Pimentel in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eloy Sánchez saved Canoa from getting behind. Canoa's Felipe Aizprua got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcos Alfaro kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Manuel De Gracia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Aizprua in the 82nd minute of the match. If Javier Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 played minutes Canoa got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Tijero. The attack was good, but when Javier Mota in the 85th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 87 minutes into the match, Canoa's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Pimentel came free, but Eloy Sánchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Canoa's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Mota came free, but Eloy Sánchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
