The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Antonio Ramirez kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 14th match minute, Finca Blanco F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro De Gracia to maneuver through the defense. Bocatoneña FC's Manuel De Gracia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Bocatoneña FC from getting a goal against them. Eduardo Bermudez hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. If Ricardo Pimentel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Mota in the 28th minute of play forced Finca Blanco F.C.'s goalkeeper Edgardo Gómez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 played minutes Finca Blanco F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Pedro De Gracia. In the 32nd minute, Pedro De Gracia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Ricardo Pimentel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Javier Mota cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Edgardo Gómez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 43 minutes into the game, Bocatoneña FC's Ricardo Pimentel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgardo Gómez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After having played for 48 minutes, Ricardo Pimentel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bocatoneña FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Pimentel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Javier Mota was the one to do the kick off. When Bocatoneña FC's Ricardo Pimentel in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With his leg Edgardo Gómez managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Bocatoneña FC's Ricardo Pimentel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Edgardo Gómez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgardo Gómez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Mota in the 78th minute of play. After 80 minutes of play Bocatoneña FC's Emiliano Ortiz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Bocatoneña FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Emiliano Ortiz hit a great ball. With a little luck, Finca Blanco F.C.'s Edgardo Gómez got control of the ball when Ricardo Pimentel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87th minute, Bocatoneña FC's Ricardo Pimentel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edgardo Gómez. Edgardo Gómez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Edgardo Gómez made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Ricardo Pimentel sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Finca Blanco F.C.'s zone, Ricardo Pimentel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Gómez came out of the goal and Ricardo Pimentel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Ricardo Pimentel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bocatoneña FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Pimentel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgardo Gómez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Finca Blanco F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bocatoneña FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
