Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moisés Mota was a little too slow when Nicolás Paredes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 25th minute, Nicolás Paredes made a precise shot to the right of Moisés Mota. Dep.Ancon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Wiliam Arauz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Briceño having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Dep.Ancon's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolás Paredes came free, but Moisés Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Max Diaz struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Jaime Briceño didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dep.Ancon. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicolás Paredes to strike the kick off in the second half. Wiliam Arauz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Briceño having to interfere. Chepo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emanuel Fernandez in the 57th minute. Chepo's Emanuel Fernandez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Moisés Mota in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Lorenzo Lozano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moisés Mota was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Dep.Ancon's goalkeeper Moisés Mota, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chepo's Jaime Briceño proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Chepo from getting a goal against them. After 94 played minutes Wiliam Arauz rounded Chepo's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. Jaime Briceño made a fantastic save in the 99th minute, when Max Diaz sent off a good shot on target. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
