Spectators: 6777 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 0) Pedro De Diego started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 8 minutes into the game, Pedro De Diego cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. The tension between the Río Hato F.C. and the Pedregal F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th minute, Pedro De Diego ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Diaz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Victor Diaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro De Diego in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pedregal F.C.'s zone, Alberto Pinilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Diaz came out of the goal and Alberto Pinilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victor Diaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro De Diego's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. If Alberto Pinilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Pinilla scored 0-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victor Diaz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Christian Trejos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ramon Tello. That made the score 1-3 in the 34 minute of play.

The wind increased when Jaime Garcia made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Río Hato F.C.'s Sebastián Zambrano got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 58th minute, Ramón Osorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro De Diego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Diaz having to interfere. Pedro De Diego received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Victor Diaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Trejos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramon Tello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Garcia in the 70th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Pedregal F.C.'s Jaime Garcia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramon Tello made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. In the 72nd match minute, Pedregal F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramón Osorio to maneuver through the defense. Pedregal F.C.'s Jaime Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Pedro De Diego got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Trejos in the 81st minute of play forced Río Hato F.C.'s goalkeeper Ramon Tello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Trejos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Tello having to interfere. In the 86th minute of the match, Alberto Pinilla got a very nice opportunity to score, but Victor Diaz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 92nd minute, Américo Tijero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 95 minutes in the game, Pedro De Diego fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Victor Diaz having to interfere. Pedro De Diego sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
