The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 16th minute, Francesco Amaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guillermo De Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Heraclides Ramirez kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guillermo De Paredes to make the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Chilibre F.C.'s Américo Agurto made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hector Espino was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 58 minutes, Américo Agurto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chilibre F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Américo Agurto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute, Victor Tello sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Río Hato F.C.'s Hector Espino didn't even have to move. Américo Agurto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Hector Espino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Tello in the 97th minute of play forced Río Hato F.C.'s goalkeeper Hector Espino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Chilibre F.C. fully deserved thier win.
