After a rather tough play, Revolution S.C.'s David Zambrano got a free kick in the 9th minute. Cyryl Rasialdo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolás Paredes in the 22nd minute of the match. Revolution S.C.'s Cyryl Rasialdo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolás Paredes in the 24th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Chepo got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Lozano. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 29th minute, when Revolution S.C.'s Leonidas Arauz after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Jaime Briceño in Chepo's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. The supporters of Chepo booed when Revolution S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonidas Arauz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaime Briceño was a little too slow when Leonidas Arauz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicolás Paredes to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Edgardo Carrillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Revolution S.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Carrillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 52ndth minute of the game Leonidas Arauz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chepo's Jaime Briceño was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edgardo Carrillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jaime Briceño having to make a save. The excitement rose when Revolution S.C.'s Leonidas Arauz after 57 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Chepo's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 3-0. A collision led to Revolution S.C. getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Américo Caballero hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Edgardo Carrillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Revolution S.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Carrillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Briceño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Revolution S.C.'s Leonidas Arauz, in the 63rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Revolution S.C.. The supporters of Revolution S.C. booed when Chepo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Carranza didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Leonidas Arauz put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jaime Briceño.
