Spectators: 6772 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jaime Garcia started the match with the kick off. With his leg Victor Diaz managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Río Hato F.C.'s Guillermo De Paredes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Jaime Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pedregal F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hector Espino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hector Espino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pedregal F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pedro Carrillo was slow to take the kick. During this time Río Hato F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Río Hato F.C.'s Pedro Carrillo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Victor Diaz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 22 minutes into the match, Pedregal F.C.'s goalkeeper Victor Diaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guillermo De Paredes. If Christian Trejos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Francesco Amaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andres Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. When Jaime Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Pedregal F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Garcia couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute Jaime Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Espino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Trejos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Espino having to interfere. Victor Diaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toto Posam in the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Toto Posam made the kick off in the second half. Christian Trejos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Hector Espino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jaime Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 played minutes Río Hato F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Francesco Amaya. Christian Trejos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Hector Espino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute Jaime Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Espino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Trejos scored 0-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hector Espino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82ndth minute of the game Guillermo De Paredes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pedregal F.C.'s Victor Diaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pedregal F.C.'s zone, Guillermo De Paredes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Diaz came out of the goal and Guillermo De Paredes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victor Urane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Espino having to interfere. Pedro Carrillo kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Río Hato F.C.'s Hector Espino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Garcia in the 96th minute of play.
